Let's Partner!

Bring PEAK Theatre Arts to your school or community.

Our partnership process is simple, flexible, and built to meet your needs.

Here’s how to get started:

Working from Home

STEP 1

Connect with Us

Start by filling out our Interest Form. Tell us a little about your school, your goals, and what kind of program you're looking for (in-school residency, after-school program, special project, etc.).

STEP 2

Discovery Call

We’ll start with a 30-minute call to learn about your community, goals, and needs. Then we’ll recommend a tailored drama program designed to meet your students where they are—and inspire where they can go.

STEP 3

Agreement & Logistics

Once program goals, schedule, and pricing are set, we’ll send a proposal with key details and next steps. A 30% deposit secures your dates, and we’ll provide all required documents plus ready-to-use flyers, family communication templates, and consent forms.

STEP 4

All Actors to the Stage!

When classes begin, our experienced teaching artist will arrive ready to spark joy and creativity from day one. Students can expect fun, engaging activities; you can expect clear communication, culturally sustaining practices, and high-quality instruction every step of the way.

STEP 6

Reflection & Feedback

At the end of each residency, we gather feedback from students, staff, and families to ensure we’re meeting your needs. We also offer a debrief call to reflect and plan for future collaborations.

Success Story
Children's Institute Inc.
“The impact of our partnership has been both on my agency CII and the Echo Park/Pico Union community for the following reasons. Students shared an interest and the importance of having a space where they can feel safe, heard and understood besides the academic places already offered. Bringing this program to Dalzell Lance helped CII get closer to closing the gap of lack of arts in the school and giving students the opportunity to continue to nourish an interest of theirs. I have seen first hand the passion and dedication that our students have had since joining the program. The work and support Ms. Jessica provided to the kids during the past couple of months have helped students work on adding more magic to their resumes.”

  • Does PEAK align with state standards and initiatives like Prop 28?
PEAK Theatre Arts is fully aligned with California's Visual and Performing Arts Standards (VAPA) standards and integrates Social Emotional Learning (SEL) outcomes. Our turnkey program qualifies for Prop 28 arts education funding and supporting state goals around equity, engagement and enrichment.
  • What makes PEAK different from other after school drama programs?
PEAK Theatre Arts is a leader in culturally sustaining drama education—meaning our programs celebrate students’ identities, honor their communities, and make space for diverse voices on stage. We go beyond just putting on a show, aligning with VAPA and SEL standards while empowering students to create and share their own stories in a joyful, supportive space.
  • What will our students gain from this experience?
At PEAK Theatre Arts, students gain more than acting skills—they build confidence, empathy, and a lifelong love of creative expression. Through games, storytelling, and collaboration, they will: Find their voice – learning to speak up, share ideas, and trust their unique perspective. Build confidence – taking creative risks in a safe, encouraging environment. Work as a team – listening, collaborating, and celebrating each other’s strengths. Express themselves creatively – using theatre to explore ideas, emotions, and identities. Develop life skills – from problem-solving and adaptability to empathy and leadership. Experience joy – discovering the fun and connection that theatre brings. Our goal is for every student to leave feeling more confident, more connected, and more excited about their own potential—on stage and in life.
  • Do all PEAK Theatre Arts programs end with a performance?
Yes! Every PEAK program concludes with a culminating showcase. This gives students the opportunity to share their growth, creativity, and learning with an audience of peers, family, and community. Please note: Many of our students are participating in theatre for the first time, so we prioritize the process over the product. By centering on process, students are free to have fun, build confidence and take creative risks. It also ensures that everyone feels seen, heard, and valued regardless of prior experience.
  • What's included in your programs?
We provide trained teaching artists, a fully developed curriculum, classroom management, and all materials and supplies. We handle all the heavy lifting so your team can focus on student impact.
  • How much does it cost?
Pricing depends on the program length and format. We work with your budget and help you leverage Prop 28 and other ELOP funding streams. Contact us today for a custom quote!
  • How do you measure student success and program impact?
We look at the whole child. For social-emotional growth, we track how students build confidence, work as a team, take creative risks, and express themselves. For artistic growth, we use California’s VAPA Standards, focusing on the four core elements of theatre: Creating, Performing, Responding, and Connecting. We also gather feedback from families and schools to make sure our programs are inspiring, meaningful, and joyful for every student.
  • How many students do you need to run a PEAK program?
We recommend a minimum of 7 students per group to ensure engaging and collaborative theatre experience. With Prop 28 funding, schools often have flexibility to serve smaller groups especially if it meets students needs and equity goals. We're happy to work with you to design a program that maximizes your funding and student impact.
  • Can your programs support our goals around attendance and family engegment?
Absolutely! Our culminating showcases build bridges between home, school and culture. Schools have seen improved attendance, increased student pride, and more parent involvement through our programs.
  • What is cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel a scheduled class or program, we require at least 10 business days’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 10 days' notice forfeit the 30% deposit, as it secures your program slot and covers planning and operation costs.

Equity Statement
At PEAK Theatre Arts, equity is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to creating inclusive, affirming spaces where all young people, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, ability, language, or socioeconomic background, can thrive creatively and personally. Our programs intentionally center voices and stories that have been historically excluded from traditional theatre spaces, ensuring that every student feels seen, heard, and valued. We believe that true learning happens when everyone has equitable access to opportunities, support, and the power of self-expression.
