Peak Theatre Arts is a theatre-based youth development company that partners with schools and community organizations to bring student-devised theatre programs to expanded learning spaces across Los Angeles County. We create spaces where students’ stories, cultures, and voices take center stage.
Who We Serve
We partner with Out-of-School-Time (OST) and Expanded Learning Opportunity Program (ELOP) providers, as well as schools and community organizations, to expand access to culturally sustaining arts education.

Our Approach
Our work is grounded in the Peak Theatre Arts Model, a research-informed framework developed through years of theatre practice and experience in out-of-school-time learning. The model integrates California Visual & Performing Arts Standards, social-emotional learning, and culturally sustaining pedagogy to create drama residencies that are rigorous, joyful, and centered on student voice.
