Where Students Create the Story
Peak Theatre Arts is a culture-centered, theatre-based youth development company serving K–8 out-of-school-time programs.
Our student-devised drama residencies combine high-quality theatre arts learning, culture, and youth development to cultivate belonging, leadership, and artistry.
Through collaborative theatre-making, we create an artful sanctuary where students’ stories matter, their cultures are in the spotlight, and their voices shape the creative process.

Storytelling
Every residency is story-driven. Students read, write, imagine, and devise original narratives that strengthen literacy, critical thinking, and communication.
Belonging
Residencies are ensemble-based, creating safe, joyful spaces where students feel seen, heard, and connected.
Leadership
Leadership is practiced routinely through rotating student leadership roles, such as warm-up captain and props master. Students guide activities, support peers, and take responsibility for the ensemble.
Culture
Our work is rooted in the stories, languages, identities, and lived experiences students bring — allowing them to create from who they are.
